People & Power: political repression and corruption in Tunisia
An Interesting documentary from Al Jazeera English People & Power news program about the human rights situation in Ben Ali’s Tunisia. The report has been filmed under cover and in the secret by Zouhir Latif.
Zine El Abidine Ben Ali has been president of Tunisia for the last 20 years. In fact, he likes being president so much that he changes the constitution on numerous occasions so that he can remain on top, so what did he do with all this power. Well, he makes sure that no one questions it. That means that political dissent is silenced and there is no such thing as free press or media. That’s why Aljazeera is banned. But despite this, Zouhir Latif has filmed a report, under cover and in secret, on political repression and corruption in Tunisia which go all the way to the top.

the tunisian regime should desapear because it belongs to the middle age.
Tunisian should support the activists and the opposant and get rid off the horrible dictatorship.They should stop being tahana and behave responsbaly: Revolution against the terrorist regime and well corrupted is a necissity for a life and a future.
what you have shown is only an appetizer to reality. it is so sad! I can not believe that Ben Ali is running once again for President. Hadn’t he had enough? The country is so corrupted! The President’s family is a mafia.They control the country and they attack the helpless citizens. What a shame? It is such a beautiful country destroyed by greed.If you say the truth, prepare for Jail or the cemetery..
